As times have changed, luckily so have showerdoors.
A few years ago one could find hundreds of shower curtains
because showerdoors were
either very expensive or ill-fitting, not protecting the
bathroom from the inevitable water droplets.
A proper shower door is essential when you want to enjoy your shower – no
one wants to struggle with a door that won’t close. Showerdoors are
as diverse as the amounts of different styles and shapes of showers
you find today.
At Summer Place Spas & Baths there is a great emphasis on providing
high quality products to the discerning South African client. This
is especially visible in the remarkable quality of not only the showerdoors on
their Atlantis Steam Cabin, but also the after sales service you receive
should something happen to your shower door.
The Atlantis Steam Cabin is a shower and steam unit in one and it
is therefore very important to make sure that is seals perfectly,
otherwise it would waste electricity, water and the excessive steam
can cause damage to the rest of the bathroom.
How to take care of your shower door ( Only clear glass
)
Most showers these days come standard with a shower door and not
the pesky shower curtain. The glass can be either clear or frosted,
but regardless of its finishing you must clean it regularly to make
sure it remains clean and clear. Soap scum wouldn’t show immediately
but after a few uses it will cause the glass to turn grey.
The easiest way to clean shower doors is by spraying a mild detergent
on the door after every shower. The detergent will reduce the build
up and by the time you have your next shower the detergent will be
rinsed away.
Mildew on showerdoors is a real
problem and the cheapest way to get rid of it is by spraying surgical
spirit (available from a pharmacy) directly onto the mildew. Leave
it to soak for a few minutes and simply wash it away.
