When our clients come to us for décor advice and assistance as to exactly what kind of bath tub to install in their bathrooms, the first thing we ask is the size of the room.  If your bathroom is large and spacious you may want to ‘break’ the floorspace by installing a freestanding, central bathtub.  You could also consider installing a recessed spa bath for a really luxurious feel.  If your bathroom is small and has the potential to get cramped and claustrophobic, then we highly recommend the installation of a corner bath.  The advantage of a corner bath is that it lends an illusion of space and comfort whilst still utilising every bit of available floorspace – corner space that may otherwise just be an awkward, unused area.  You are also able to get creative with the materials you would like to enclose the bath with – perhaps tiles for a smooth, clean, more modern finish or wood slats for a more rustic, country feel.
